SCHICC ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using www.schicc.com or the SCHICC app, you agree to the terms of this policy.

What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

Name, email address, phone number, and delivery address when you place an order or create an account
Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card details)
Communications you send us, including enquiries and support requests
Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or Scent Refill Plan

We also collect information automatically when you use our website, including:

IP address, browser type, and device information
Pages visited, time spent on the site, and referring URLs

The SCHICC app

When you create a SCHICC account in our app, we collect your full name and email address. When you set up a diffuser, we record its serial number, the room you place it in, and the routines and settings you choose. We use this information only to run the app: to sign you in, connect and control your diffusers, and register your diffuser's warranty.

This information is stored with Google Firebase and, for diffuser control, Tuya, who process it on our behalf. Your Wi-Fi password is sent directly to your diffuser and is never stored by the app or by us. We do not use app data for advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings > Account > Delete account, or by emailing info@schicc.com from the address on your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, diffusers and routines. We keep your diffuser's warranty record so that its cover stays valid for the product.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

Process and fulfil your orders and send order confirmations and tracking updates
Manage your account and subscriptions
Run the SCHICC app and register your diffuser's warranty
Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
Send you marketing communications where you have opted in
Improve our website and customer experience
Comply with legal obligations

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your data with:

Delivery and logistics partners to fulfil your orders
Payment processors to handle transactions securely
Email and marketing platforms to send communications you have consented to
IT and analytics providers who help us operate our website
Google Firebase and Tuya, who store app account data and run diffuser control on our behalf

All third parties are required to handle your data in compliance with applicable data protection law.

Marketing communications

If you have subscribed to our newsletter or opted in at checkout, we will send you updates about new products, scents, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at info@schicc.com.
